I finally found a press on paper that I thought was good enough for Ley's Tees designs. After investing in a professional heat press to adhere the designs to the shirts, I am glad to report that I am happy with the resulting look, feel, and durability of the result. Once the designs are pressed on the garment, there is hardly any hand (feel) to the shirt, it is amazingly soft! I have washed my initial practice shirt about 20 times in hot water, not turned inside-out , and dried on the cotton setting, and can honestly say there is NO cracking and only a slight fade. These pressed on designs will really stand up to the little ones! (Of course, if you want it to stay new looking, wash on delicate, inside-out, with gentle detergent, and hang to dry.) Some designs on different colors can have a slight 'glaze' to them, which will dissapear with a warm iron. Here are the designs I have come up with so far:
